Fausto Coppi's Second Lombardia Victory
The 41st edition of the Giro di Lombardia was held on October 26, 1947.
Defending champion Fausto Coppi user the climb of the Colle del Ghisallo as a launching pad and rode away from arch-rival Gino Bartali. In Milan Coppi crossed the finish line for his second Lombardia victory.
